The main task of the Organization ‘BOSPOR’ is to increase potential of youth and citizens of Turkmenistan by:
Facilitating development of opportunities for obtaining education and creating new jobs, providing access to information resources
Development and implementation of cultural programs that promote the unification of the country’s youth
Assistance in creating an environment that is friendly to the development of youth and civil society in general
Capacity building and implementation of projects in the field of legislation and education, ecology and agriculture, development of small and medium business
Providing legal assistance in the field of legislation, agriculture, development of small and medium-sized businesses and environment
Dissemination of knowledge on sustainable development and capacity building in the field of ‘green economy’
Turkmenistan ratified the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) in 1997 and the Optional Protocol thereto in 2009, and in 2015 adopted the new Law of Turkmenistan “On State Guarantees for the Equal Rights and Equal Opportunities of Women and Men” and “The National Action Plan on Gender Equality in Turkmenistan for 2015-2020”.
